Amy and Nathan wanted to do their photos up the Poudre Canyon because he lives in Steamboat and she lives in Denver. That will all change once they are married. I don't know about anyone else but long distance, even if it's in the same state is tough! Kudos to all those couples out there doing it. Funny fact, Amy was the maid of honor at a recent wedding I shot. Unbeknownst to her and the bride, they and their fiances wore very similar outfits to their engagement sessions. You can view the other engagement session here to see what I mean. The creme and maroon/red, yes?
I love it when I meet a couple and find out that we know many mutual people. It feels like we are almost friends before we even get to know each other! Aaron and McKenzie are so fun and easy going you can see why they gravitated to each other. I'm sure they have many years of laughter ahead of them. Their wedding at the Tapestry House in Laporte was beautiful! Beautiful couple, beautiful friends and family. It was easy to feel the love everyone had for the bride and groom. Congrats again to the Christs and thank you for having me along for your special day!
Cherry Farm Flowers is located in Fort Collins just West of Donath Lake. So really, in between Loveland and Fort Collins I would say. When I found out they were starting a roadside stand I had to stop by! If you are looking for flower arrangements from a local you need to check them out. There are two sizes, small and large, and the prices are a steal, really. And on top of that you are supporting local business which I love to do. I got a small arrangement and it's been a few days but it looks like they were just cut yesterday.
Loving how these look in our dining room!
