Colorful Wedding // The Preserve at Bingham Hill // Colorado Wedding Photographer

This wedding took place up in LaPorte at the Preserve at Bingham Hill. If you haven’t been to the Bingham Hill overlook, you definitely need to check it out! In fact, that’s where this couple’s sunset photos were taken. This wedding was so colorful you could practically FEEL the colors. That’s not all you could feel. The love between the bride and groom was palpable in a relaxed, calm way. They were just so happy to be there and be celebrating their love with their friends and family.

The ceremony was so inspirational. The bride spoke about how she is from a culture that celebrates women despite their marital status. Therefore, she didn’t NEED him, she WANTED him. Wanted him to share in life’s sorrows and joys. Wanted him to be a partner in their journey. Several of their friends read passages during the ceremony. They paralleled those sentiments.

Give your hearts, but not into each
other’s keeping.
For only the hand of Life can contain
your hearts.
And stand together yet not too near
together:
For the pillars of the temple stand apart,
And the oak tree and the cypress grow
not in each other’s shadow.
— KAHLIL GIBRAN

I thought these were such great phrases for a couple about to enter into a lifelong partnership. What are your favorite wedding quotes?
